Abstract
Professor Waldemar Christian Hecker celebrated his 65th birthday on 15 February 1987. He received cordial congratulations from friends and colleagues from all over the world. On this occasion, a symposium on “Operative Technique in Neonates and Infants” was organized by his students and associates.
