Zusammenfassung

Die immer größere Ausweitung der Studien mit der ständigen Entwicklung der Kenntnisse haben auch auf klinisch pathologischem Gebiete der Hautmelanome zu nennenswerten Tatsachen geführt. So geschah es, daß innerhalb weniger Jahre sich klinisch einordnende sowie pathologisch-anatomisch histologische Kenntnisse erweiterten, während diagnostisch prognostische Kriterien sowie Behandlungsrichtlinien sich immer klarer herauskristallisierten. Andere Punkte hingegen blieben ungeklärt; darunter zweifellos die Frage Über die Herkunft der Melanome, insofern unser Wissen um den Ursprung der Pigmente, welche diese Geschwülste kennzeichnen, indem sie denselben ein besonderes klinisch pathologisch-anatomisches Gepräge verleihen, noch durchaus nicht klar ist.
