Neck Stiffness and Headache

Abstract

Neck stiffness and headache are important features of various disorders presenting as neurological or neurosurgical emergencies. Their simultaneous appearance usually reflects meningeal irritation and together with accompanying signs and symptoms is of significant diagnostic value.
