Pathology of the scrotum

Abstract

Ultrasound is currently the best technique for the examination of the scrotum. The initial studies show that MRI is also a useful method because of the absence of ionizing radiation, the possibility to choose the plane of section, very high contrast and the excellent spatial resolution obtained with surface coils.
