Roundtable discussion on the use of transdermal medication: clinical characteristics and skin reactions

The papers in this symposium have provided interesting data on the pharmacokinetics of transdermally administered Clonidine and have shown its clinical effectiveness in patients with mild to moderate hypertension. I think we should consider whether this form of treatment causes a skin reaction, how often this occurs, how it can be prevented, and what future research should be contemplated.
