Abstract

The papers in this symposium have provided interesting data on the pharmacokinetics of transdermally administered Clonidine and have shown its clinical effectiveness in patients with mild to moderate hypertension. I think we should consider whether this form of treatment causes a skin reaction, how often this occurs, how it can be prevented, and what future research should be contemplated.
