Abstract

A power-law linear correlation between Hγ and soft X-ray emission is presented. It is remarkablo, that the relationship, Lx = 34 × L γ, holds over several orders of magnitude for both ‘quiescent’ and flare (solar and stellar) observations. The data are discussed in terms of microflaring.
