Abstract
I would like to congratulate Dr. Girardi and his associates on the excellent work they have reported on transformation of human cells in vitro by SV40. Our own work with human cells has been much more limited and we have been concerned chiefly with the problem of whether the transformed cells have acquired neoplastic properties.
