Abstract
Most of what has been presented above concerns either zero-field behavior of ordered systems, or else paramagnetic systems where the magnetization depends linearly on the magnetic field. A number of interesting new effects occur upon the application of a magnetic field to an ordered system, and several of these effects will be described in this chapter. Furthermore, spin structures are frequently more complicated than the simple lattice models presented in Chapter V, and several interesting examples will be presented here. The discussion of this chapter is restricted to temperatures below Tc.
