Zusammenfassung

In vielen Arbeitsgebieten muß der Hygieniker bemüht sein, Heimatrecht zu gewinnen, in der Geologie, Geographie, Klimatologie, im Bauwesen, in der Anthropologie, in der Psychologie, um aus diesem Wissen heraus Aufschlüsse und einen kritischen Blick zu gewinnen für die Problematik der eigenen Aufgaben. Verkehrt aber wäre seine Einstellung, wollte er Pläne für Quellenerschließungen, für Abwasserverwertungsanlagen entwerfen, Planungen für Siedlungen, Entwürfe für Bauten anfertigen, sich für befugt halten, den Pädagogen zu belehren.
