Abstract

Epitheliomas which are multiple and accessible lend themselves readily to laser treatment. These lesions include chiefly pigmented and non-pigmented basal cell epitheliomas, squamous cell carcinomas both superficial and invasive. To enable the epitheliomas to absorb more laser energy, non-pigmented lesions have been colored with Evan’s blue, Janus green, India ink in dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO), and by copper iontophoresis and by tattooing.
