Der Forschungsschwerpunkt Angewandte Tumorvirologie widmet sich den Wechselwirkungen zwischen Viren und Organismus bei der Krebsentstehung sowie der Anwendung der hierbei erhaltenen Informationen auf die Entwicklung von Strategien zur Krebsbekämpfung.
