Zusammenfassung
Die Wirkung von Kälte zur Bildung von retinalen Adhäsionen wurde sowohl experimentell als auch klinisch in etlichen Publikationen dargestellt. Hierbei wurden von manchen Untersuchern im Vergleich zu anderen Methoden, wie Diathermie-, Licht- oder Laser-Koagulationen, gewisse Vorteile aufgezeigt.
