Zusammenfassung
Bei Untersuchung der Wirkung farbiger Beleuchtung auf den Hellanstieg im Elektrookulogramm (EOG) zeigten 1962 Arden und Kelsey sowie Elenius und Lehtonen eine spektrale Reizwertverteilung ähnlich der Dämmerungsempfindlichkeitskurve. Sie schlossen daraus auf die Beteiligung der retinalen Stäbchen an der Auslösung der Hellschwingung des Bestandpotentials. Nachfolgende Untersuchungen mit spektralen Reizen (McCord, 1963; Elenius u. Karo, 1966; Täumer u. Mitarb.,1976) erwiesen indessen eine Mitbeteiligung der Zapfen. Die vorliegende Studie untersucht nochmals die relative Bedeutung des Tages- und Dämmerungsapparates für die Hellschwingung des EOG. Neben dem Einfluß von Wellenlänge und Leuchtdichte der den Potentialanstieg auslösenden Beleuchtung wurde hierzu auch die Wirkung ihrer räumlichen Verteilung auf der Netzhaut (Area, Exzentrizität) geprüft.
