Zusammenfassung

Grundsatz der Therapie der endokrinen Ophthalmopathie muß es sein, einen Augenbefund zu bessern, eine Progression des Augenbefundes und einen Funktionsverlust nach Möglichkeit zu verhindern, zum zweiten eine den Augenbefund begleitende Fehlfunktion der Schilddrüse durch therapeutische Maßnahmen zu kompensieren.
