Allgemeine Behandlungsmaßnahmen bei infektiöser Endokarditis und deren Komplikationen

Zusammenfassung

Als mikrobielle Krankheit erfordert die infektiöse Endokarditis vor allem eine adäquate antibiotische Therapie und unter bestimmten Bedingungen den operativen Eingriff selbst im Stadium der floriden Entzündung. Diesen beiden Hauptsäulen der Therapie sind eigene Kapitel der vorliegenden Monographie gewidmet (s.S. 273 ff. und S. 297 ff.). Im folgenden Kapitel sollen allgemeine Behandlungsrichtlinien und die nichtantibiotische Therapie der Endokarditis und ihrer Komplikationen dargestellt werden, soweit sie nicht andernorts hinreichend besprochen sind.
