Zusammenfassung

Als Lambliasis, Lambliose, Giardiasis oder Lamblien-Ruhr wird der Befall des Duodenums mit dem Erreger „Lamblia intestinalis“ oder „Giardia lamblia“ bezeichnet. Die Bedeutung dieses Erregers für das Auftreten klinischer Erscheinungen wird unterschiedlich bewertet. Man bringt dysenterieartige Bilder, aber ohne Entleerung von Blut, mit diesem Erreger in Zusammenhang, ebenso wie ein Beschwerdebild von Seiten der Gallenblase, wobei allerdings hier die Zusammenhangsfrage noch weniger geklärt ist als bei den Darmerscheinungen.
