Zusammenfassung

Für die Therapie der portalen Hypertension steht heute eine Vielzahl operativer und konservativer Verfahren zur Verfügung. Deshalb ist es notwendig, ein Behandlungskonzept, basierend auf den jeweils vorhandenen eigenen Möglichkeiten, zu erstellen. Dies sollte Kriterien für die Indikation zur Operation bei der Blutung und im freien Intervall, die Auswahl des entsprechenden Operationsverfahrens sowie Notfallmaßnahmen bei blutenden Ösophagus- und/oder Fundusvarizen beinhalten.
