Abstract
The septal pores of homokaryotic and dikaryotic hyphae of Coprinus lagopus as seen from ultra-thin sections are like the published descriptions from certain other Basidiomycetes. The edge of each septal pore is thickened enclosing a narrow tubular passage .09—.18 µ in diameter. On either side of the pore is a dome shaped, perforated pore cap. Both septa of the clamp connection in a dikaryon and the septa of homokaryons have pores of this type.
