Zusammenfassung

Die verstärkte Berücksichtigung des Umwelteinflusses aller menschlichen Tätigkeit, sei es die Rodung von Wäldern, die Verbrennung fossiler Treibstoffe oder das Vergraben von chemischem Müll und Atommüll, hat in den letzten Jahren, insbesondere nach Anwachsen der Kerntechnik und weiterem Ausbau der Industriegesellschaft, zu vielen Forschungsarbeiten geführt. Die Motivation ergab sich aus den vielen Degradationserscheinungen, welche in der Umwelt auftreten und deutlich die Grenzen eines unkontrollierten Aufbaues einer globalen Industriegesellschaft nach alten Methoden vor Augen führen.
