Zusammenfassung
Der Aufnahme der Nahrungsstoffe in den Organismus und ihrem Einbau in die Substanz oder in die Struktur des Körpers, der Assimilation, folgt ihr Abbau unter Freisetzung der in ihnen enthaltenen Energie. Diesen Teil des Stoffwechsels nennt man Dissimilation.
