Zusammenfassung

Die Beurteilung der linksventrikulären Funktion anhand der linksventrikulären Wandbewegung ist eine der wichtigsten Fragestellungen der klinischen Echokardiographie (10). Eine zuverlässige Beurteilung der LV-Funktion ist allerdings nur bei guter Abgrenzung des Endokards möglich, was nach eigenen Erfahrungen bei ca. 20% der Patienten nicht der Fall ist.
