Zusammenfassung

Bei der differentialdiagnostischen Abgrenzung des Cushing-Syndroms hat sich die fluorometrische Bestimmung der 11-OHCS im Plasma unter Basalbedingungen, nach Stimulierung der Nebennierenrinde mit ACTH und nach Bremsung mit Dexamethason bewährt (1, 2). Eine quantitative Aussage über die gesteigerte Steroidproduktion der Nebennierenrinde bei diesem Krankheitsbild bietet die Bestimmung der Sekretionsraten, zumal dabei das Cortisol und das Corticosteron getrennt erfaßt werden können.
