Abstract
1. The investigation deals with the development of the human hemisphere starting with the stage of the primitive vesicle and ending with the architectonic subdivision of the surface. It is mainly concerned with the development of the hemisphere as a whole and with the dynamics of morphogenesis. Histogenetic details are discussed as far as they indicate topographical changes. The differentiation of the outer surface has been taken into consideration as well as the differentiation of the inner surface.
