Zusammenfassung

Der Rattenabstrichtest wurde von Hohlweg (1) bereits 1929 als quantitative Testierungsmethode für Gonadotropine empfohlen. Zondek (2) stellte später fest, daß die Ratte bei Beurteilung des Vaginalabstrichs auf HCG empfindlicher, Hamburger (3), daß sie auf hypophysäres Gonadotropin unempfindlicher reagiert als die Maus. Für die Bestimmung des hypophysären Gonadotropins im Harn von Männern und nichtschwangeren Frauen hat sich der von Klinefelter (4) angegebene Mäuseuterusgewichtstest als geeignet erwiesen.
