Zusammenfassung
Die Untersuchungen von HEMPELMANN und Mitarbeitern haben ergeben, daß nach Absaugmanövern bei IPPV unter anderem der rechte Vorhofdruck stark ansteigt. Die Autoren führen dies auf eine Zunahme des venösen Rückflusses zurück, die bei bestehender cardialer Insuffizienz zu akuter Rechtsherzüberlastung führen kann. Wie aus der Literatur bekannt ist (4, 5, 9), führt dagegen PEEP-Beatmung zu einer mehr oder weniger starken Abnahme des Herzzeitvolumens, abhängig von der cardialen und respiratorischen Situation des Patienten und von der Höhe des endexspiratorisch positiven Druckes.
