Summary
Acoustic events, particularly noise, may produce annoyance or health disturbances before they lead to hearing loss.
There are large individual differences in the degree of such annoyance. Principles governing permissible exposure to noise are presented; if these are followed, the majority of individuals will be adequately protected.
Zusammenfassung.
Akustische Einwirkungen, insbesondere Lärm, können, ehe es zur Hörstörung kommt, bereits zu Belästigungen bzw. Gesundheitsstörungen führen.
Die Belästigungen unterliegen einer starken individuellen Streuung. Es werden Richtlinien über zulässige Schalleinwirkungen aufgezeigt, bei deren Durchführung die Mehrzahl der Menschen hinreichend geschützt wird.
