Zusammenfassung

Die Bowmanschc Membran als spezifisch gebaute Lamelle des cornealen Stromas wird in der zweiten Hälfte der Schwangerschaft angelegt [1] und erreicht bis zur Geburt ihre definitive Gestalt und Dicke von 8 bis 16 μ [2-4]. Bekanntlich kann sie nicht regeneriert werden, wenn sie durch traumatische, entzündliche oder degenerative Prozesse zerstört wurde.
