Abstract

In the material presented, the authors have attempted to provide a reasonable summary of numerical methods in fluid mechanics which are in use in both the United States and Europe. We did not attempt to review technology in the area which was generated in the U.S.S.R. due to the difficulty in obtaining the results. We did include those methods and results which were available and did not overlap the book of M. Holt in this series.
