Clinical Effects of Vinblastine in Chorionic Tumors

Abstract

In a cooperative study by selected members of the Chorionic Tumor Committee, the Japanese Obstetrical and Gynecological Society, Japan, 40 patients were treated with Vinblastine Sulfate. Twelve of these had chorionepithelioma [choriocarcinoma — Ed.] 16 had destructive mole [invasive hydatidiform mole — Ed.] and 12 had hydatidiform mole. Final diagnosis was based on histologic findings which had been agreed upon at a special session of the Chorionic Tumor Committee.
