Vom Praktiker wird man, wenn man eine Elektronenschleuder betreibt, immer wieder gefragt: „Wie messen Sie die Dosis ? In ‚Röntgen‛ oder in ‚rad‛ ?“ Vor Beantwortung der Frage müßte man im Grunde immer die Gegenfrage stellen: „Was verstehen Sie unter ‚Dosis‛ ?“
