  • Conference paper
Annals of Life Insurance Medicine

Abstract

Mortality studies by Life Insurance Companies in the past have been deficient in the respect that only the mortality of insurance applicants who were offered a policy and who had accepted the contract was investigated. The mortality of the applicants who were declined, who had not accepted the life insurance offer, or who had accepted but lapsed the policy within the period of the study was unknown.
