Zusammenfassung
Das wichtigste Quecksilbererz ist der Zinnober (HgS). Auch Quecksilberchlorid und metallisches Quecksilber kommen manchmal in der Natur in gewinnbaren Mengen vor. Bisweilen sind auch Fahlerze und Zinkblenden quecksilberhaltig.
