Zusammenfassung

Aldosteron kann an der Pathogenese verschiedener Formen von experimentellem und von klinischem Hochdruck in folgender Weise beteiligt sein:

  1. 1.

    Als primär auslösende Noxe, entweder durch endogene Überproduktion oder in Form exogener Überdosierung. Dabei kann neben anderen Symptomen ein Hochdruck auftreten, vorausgesetzt, daß bestimmte Versuchsbedingungen eingehalten werden.

  2. 2.

    Als sekundärer Faktor im Sinne einer permissiven Wirkung, wobei die Anwesenheit normaler Mengen von Aldosteron genügt, um zusammen mit anderen humoralen Faktoren die Voraussetzungen für die Entwicklung oder Aufrechterhaltung eines Hochdruckes zu geben.
