Zusammenfassung

Die Wiederentdeckung der bakteriellen Besiedelung der Magenschleimhaut durch die mittlerweile als Campylobacter pylori (C. P.) klassifizierten Keime stellt auch den Morphologen vor neue Aufgaben und verleiht der in der Routine erstarrten histologischen Gastritisdiagnostik neue Aspekte. Neben der Beurteilung feingeweblicher Veränderungen zur Gastritisdiagnostik sollte der Nachweis der Mikroorganismen in der Magenschleimheit in jedem histologischen Labor möglich sein.
