Zusammenfassung
Afferente Nervenbahnen spielen eine bedeutende Rolle in der Regulation gastrointestinaler Funktionen. Viszerale Afferenzen sind ca. 4- bis 8mal häufiger als efferente Nerven, und es ist bekannt, daß ca. 80–90% der Vagusfasern afferent sind [1]. Trotz dieser großen Anzahl standen bisher keine in vivo-Methoden zur Untersuchung dieser Nerven zur Verfügung. Insbesondere sind die diagnostischen Möglichkeiten bei Verdacht auf eine autonome Neuropathie im Verdauungstrakt unbefriedigend.
