Zusammenfassung
Seit ihrer klinischen Einführung um das Jahr 1980 hat sich die MR-Tomographie parallel zu einer rasanten technischen Entwicklung rasch als Mittel der Wahl für eine Reihe von Fragestellungen in der klinischen Diagnostik durchgesetzt [1]. Mit weltweit heute über tausend installierten Systemen und einer jährlichen Zuwachsrate von etwa 400 Anlagen wird die Versorgungsdichte schon bald eine ähnliche Größenordnung wie in der Röntgen-Computer-Tomographie erreichen.
