Zusammenfassung

In früheren Arbeiten konnte gezeigt werden, daß in Seren von Patienten mit primär biliärer Zirrhose (PBC) verschiedene organunspezifische antimitochondriale Antikörper vorkommen (Anti-M2, Anti-M4, Anti-M8) [5]. Während Anti-M2-Antikörper ein wichtiger Parameter für die serologische Diagnose der PBC sind und bei 95% der PBC-Patienten gefunden wurden [4], scheinen Anti-M4- und Anti-M8-Antikörper auf eine progressive Form der Erkrankung hinzuweisen [5, 16].
