Zusammenfassung
Funktionen des Dünndarmes Der Dünndarm besitzt nicht nur eine wichtige Funktion für die Resorption von Nahrungs-stoffen und die Sekretion, er stellt auch das größte, zusammenhängende endokrine Organ dar, spielt eine wichtige Rolle als Immunorgan wie auch im Lipid- und Lipoproteinstoff-wechsel. Leitsymptome von Dünndarmerkrankungen sind Durchfälle und Gewichtsver-lust, die im wesentlichen als Folgesymptomatik eines Malassimilationssyndromes (Maldigestion oder Malabsorption) entstehen.
