Zusammenfassung

Salazosulfapyridin (Salazopyrin) wird seit 1942 in der Behandlung von chronisch entzündlichen Erkrankungen des Dickdarms verwendet. Wenn auch etwa ein Fünftel der behandelten Patienten über geringfügige Nebenwirkungen, meist von Seiten des Magen-Darm-Traktes, klagt, sind schwerwiegende Nebenwirkungen extrem seiten.
