Zusammenfassung

Der Thyreotropin-Releasing-Hormon-(TRH)-Test besitzt als besonders empfindlicher Parameter von Schilddrüsenfunktionsstörungen große differentialdiagnostische Bedeu tung. Einige Arbeitsgruppen halten ihn für den sichersten und zuverlässigsten Schild-drüsentest und empfehlen ihn sogar als Test der ersten Wahl. Klinische Erfahrungen aber zeigen, daß der TRH-Test aus zunächst nicht erkennbaren Gründen negativ ausfallen kann, d. h. die Stimulierbarkeit von TSH durch TRH vermindert ist oder fehit. Ziel dieser Arbeit ist, die für falsch negative Testergebnisse verantwortlichen Faktoren zu analysieren und ihren zahienmäßigen Anteil für unser Patientengut anzugeben.
