Zusammenfassung
Aus differentialdiagnostischen und therapeutischen Gründen ist bei den verschiedensten Krankheitsprozessen des Menschen eine qualitative und quantitative Bestimmung der Immunglobuline im Serum oder anderen Körperflüssigkeiten erforderlich. Die Unterscheidung, ob es sich um eine Dysproteinämie oder Paraproteinämie handelt, gelingt in der Regel mit Hilfe der Immunelektrophorese unter Verwendung polyvalenter bzw. monospezifischer Antiseren. Für den quantitativen Nachweis der verschiedenen Immunglobuline im Serum, Urin oder Liquor cerebrospinalis, hat sich die radiale Immunodiffusionstechnik, die erstmals 1965 von Mancini [6] beschrieben wurde, bewährt.
