Zusammenfassung
Auf Grund synergistischer Wirkung [13] und einer additiven Ergänzung im Wirkungsspektrum ist die Kombinationstherapie mit Cephalothin und Gentamycin als Initialbehandlung lebensbedrohlicher Infektionen [18] und zur Behandlung von Problemkeimen weiterhin unersetzlich. Einzelbeobachtungen eines hierdurch ausgelösten Nierenversagens haben den Verdacht einer potenzierten Nephrotoxizität aufkommen lassen [1,8,21]. Eine systematische Untersuchung an einem größeren Kollektiv fehlt bisher. Deswegen werden hier Häufigkeit, Bedingungen, Dosisabhängigkeit und mögliche mitauslösende Faktoren retrospektiv statistisch untersucht.
