Zusammenfassung

Die medizinisch und volkswirtschaftlich durch den Nikotinabusus bedingten Schäden sind quantifizierbar:

    Die unter Berücksichtigung sämtlicher Todesursachen berechnete Mortalitätsrate liegt für Raucher urn das 1,3–1,8fache höher als für Nichtraucher [1, 2].
