Zusammenfassung

Bei der chronisch aktiven Hepatitis (CAH) des Menschen spielen nach heutiger Auffassung Immunreaktionen gegen hepatozelluläre Membranantigene pathogenetisch eine entscheidende Rolle. Autoimmunreaktionen gegenüber leberspezifischen Antigenen, aber auch organunspezifische humorale Autoimmunphänomene, finden sich vor allem bei der HBsAg-negativen CAH mit Hypergammaglobulinämie.
