Zusammenfassung

Die alpha-Amylase im Serum wird im wesentlichen im Pankreas und in den Speicheldrüsen gebildet [3]. Eine Erhöhung der Serumamylase findet sich daher vorwiegend bei Erkrankungen dieser Organe. Auch Oberbauch- und Nierenkrankheiten sowie verschiedene Medikamente können eine Hyperamylasämie hervorrufen. Im Rahmen einer pharmakokinetischen Untersuchung mit Hydroxyäthylstärke fiel uns auf, daß dieses kolloidale Volumenersatzmittel ebenfalls zum Anstieg der alpha-Amylase im Serum führt.
