Zusammenfassung

Knochenmarkszellen bleiben bei tiefen Temperaturen langfristig vital, wenn sie in Anwesenheit von bestimmten kryoprotektiven Substanzen eingefroren werden. Die Überlebensrate des Stammzellpotentials hängt von einer Reihe Faktoren ab, insbesondere von der Änderungsgeschwindigkeit der Temperatur beim Einfrieren und Auftauen und von den biochemischen Eigenschaften des krvoprotektiven Mediums.

Ein Teil der Arbeit wurde mit finanzieller Unterstützung des Landesamtes für Forschung Nordrhein-Westfalen durchgeführt.
