Zusammenfassung
In Relation zum Bevölkerungsanteil und zum Bedarf sind ältere Menschen in psychotherapeutischen Behandlungen deutlich unterrepräsentiert (Übersicht bei 3). Der verhältnismäßig geringe Einsatz gerontopsychotherapeutischer Maßnahmen erscheint ungerechtfertigt, liegen doch insbesondere aus der Verhaltenstherapie (VT), der Kognitiven Therapie (KT) und der Interpersonellen Psychotherapie (IPT) erfolgversprechende Altersmodifikationen und Outcome-Studien vor (für 6 KT und VT: Übersicht bei IPT: 4,7,8). An der Freiburger Universitätsklinik für Psychiatrie und Psychotherapie wird derzeit auf einer offenen gerontopsychiatrischen Station ein multimodales Psychotherapiekonzept entwickelt und evaluiert. Zentraler Therapiebaustein ist die IPT für ältere Depressive (IPT-Late Life, nach dem Manual von 1). In der vorliegenden Arbeit werden die IPT-Late Life (IPT-LL), IPT-LL-unterstützende Gruppen sowie Evaluationsansätze vorgestellt und diskutiert.
