Zusammenfassung

In den 60er und 70er Jahren entwickelten sich die nichtinvasiven Darstellungsmethoden des Herzens durch ein- und zweidimensionale Echokardiographie und Dopplerechokardiographie sehr schnell und sind heute die Methode der Wahl bei der Diagnostik angeborener und erworbener Herzfehler sowie bei Veränderungen der großen Gefäße.
