Zusammenfassung

Seit den grundlegenden Beobachtungen von Winkle über spontane Änderungen in der Häufigkeit und Komplexität ventrikulärer Arrhythmien (26) gehört es zum klinischen Standard, daß bei der Bewertung antiarrhythmischer Effekte anhand von Langzeit-EKG-Befunden biostatistisch gestützte Kriterien herangezogen werden. Die Arbeitsgruppen um Sami (16) und um Morganroth (10) entwickelten bereits vor einem Jahrzehnt parametrische Modelle, mit denen die „Normbereiche“der Spontanvariabilität von singulären ventrikulären Extrasystolen (VES), Couplets und Salven berechnet und sekundär Kriterien zum Nachweis von Therapieeffekten abgeleitet wurden.
