Die Diskussion um die Diagnostik der Adnexitis gipfelt in der Gretchenfrage Laparoskopie, ja oder nein. Unbestritten ist, daß eine Salpingitis laparoskopisch gut diagnostizierbar und in ihrer Ausdehnung beurteilbar ist. Für wissenschaftliche Untersuchungen gilt die Laparoskopie als unverzichtbar.
